Fine, every word spoken by Garlett's Blak granny is truth.

Also, valuable. Essential to our history. Actual lived experience. Traumatic, valuable, no argument.

Until the Garlett corollary :

Every word ever written by any Whyt person is then an absolute lie.

How is this attitude supposed to help Australia to move forward, together... unified?

Do some real work, Garlett.

Gather both sides of our story.  Some is written, documented. Whyt people really were there. Then. Yes, they saw, acted, understood what was happening -- in their own ways.

You don't have to accept their attitudes. At least attempt to understand -- or record --them.

Yes, gather the Blak oral histories-- before they are lost. They are a vital part of Australian history. Yes.

But drop the ridiculous claims that only Blak people hold the truth.

Because calling everyone else liars -- entirely because of the colour of their skins -- Will only build hatred and dracial division.
