no beating the crapple

I developed a simple app, pwmapapp

Just fun... but it works.

Now it's time to set it up for a larger-scale test.

The app has been sitting, working but largely unused for a year, on my Crapple phone.

Recently... I was thrilled to find the app still on the Android library. I downloaded to my new tablet -- and it worked!

Brilliant :-)

and a real thrill.

So it's time to set up data for the large-scale, rogaine, test.

Immediately -- the crapple version stops working.

Here's a key problem:

the app begins with a requirement to type in one email address and one simple password.

Apple have an incredibly stupid way of typing data. Essentially, it makes it impossible -- with my eyes and fingers, anyway -- to correctly type an email address.

After an hour of desperate typing -- I give up.

Oh well, let's hope that the Android version continues to work :-)
