Alec baldwin was charged for shooting, and killing, with a movie "prop" gun. there is no suggestion of intent. He was cleared on a legal technicality.
I support both results.
rule one for any gun, real, prop or toy, is that you never point it at a person.
rule two is, always assume that it is loaded.
the law has done its bit, there is no crime. civil courts may take it further.
baldwin was an idiot. i hope his conscience is punishing him.
movie safety procedures failed. i hope they will be improved.
