social media incentive

social media can be powerful, useful, fascinating. It can also be toxic. The sheer volume of material makes it impossible to manage social media posts.
So.
If something is illegal IRL, in real life, it is illegal online. If it is a civil "crime" IRL it is a civil crime online.
Then make each media company legally responsible for identification of the people who commit crimes using the social media site.
Not just the company but a named manager.
If the criminals, or alleged criminals, cannot be identified then -- the managers are legally responsible for the criminal acts.
It's a variation on seizing property which has been used to commit a crime.
The media companies will quicky find that it is not, in fact, "impossible" to manage social media posts.
