The West Editor makes the same mistake that I made in my half-hearted foray into politics. Australians are losing interest in politics when no one is bothering to speak to them.

After several meetings with voters I realised, they did not want to listen to what I, or the other wannabes, had to say. The electors wanted us to listen to the electors.
