Okay, the Health Minister gave a heartfelt but meaningless apology. Followed by blatant political denials of blame.
But it's no use sacking him. He's doing his best -- as a political manager of a major health service. And the only replacements would also be politicians.
When a politician -- a government politician -- admits that health is understaffed. And that medical staff are overworked... Then, perhaps, we can see some real improvements.
