the goverrnment passes laws to protect workers and the environment. killing the golden goose, sob the miners. yes, and that goose is laying eggs for those miners.

once again it is me, me, me.

there are parallels: the giant/public own the goose/environment. until Jack/the miners steal it. the goose/nature makes miners/jack rich and the giant/ the public is killed.
