Mysterious ways

Recent letters to the paper have discussed the effect of prayer. I would be happy to be proven wrong but, I don't believe that there is a god. So I don't pray.

There are some people who tell me that they pray for me. I don't expect that prayer will cure my cancer. Yet I am grateful for the warmth of feeling of the people who pray.

Prayer is a sign that you care. Believe it or not, you can pray. Remember to also keep an eye out for Sheila Pryce's boat and helicopter.

This post is in response to letters in the paper -- and sent as a letter to the editor. It may not make sense on its own :-)

I don't pray, but who knows.
