two applicants, each exactly match the vacancy

the man gets the job because... he is a man.

this is bad.

... with positive discrimination... the woman gets the job. and this is now good?!

of course anyone can now declare themselves b to be "feeling" like a new non-specific gender   and get to the head of the job queue.

there's even a Perth woman who wants positive discrimination in favour of women going through menopause.

or should that be, people who feel that if not for their actual gender, they could well be menopausal.

I'm with Trump on this one: just male or female. depending on actual genitals.

then work on the actual discrimination... where pushy people get ahead, or get their friends ahead, in any situation.
